This package provides the necessary installation files of Extron FOXBOX Rx HDMI Fiber Optic Receiver Firmware 1.17. Fixes:- Fixed Image flashing issues when switching encrypted signals through a fiber matrix.
- Fixed color bit depth issue with DVS 605: When a connected DVS 605 would change from an 8-bit to a 10-bit color bit depth, the FOXBOX HDMI locked up.
0 Fixed image shift issue in non-plus mode: When the transmitter is set to non-plus mode, the image was shifted to the right at 1080p @60Hz, and distorted at 1024x768 @ 60Hz when connected to a FOXBOX RX HDMI or FOXBOX SR HDMI.
- Fixed Digital Audio distortion issue with Cisco tuner: When the HDMI input signal was switched, the 48 KHz clock was disrupted, causing a digital audio distortion with the Cisco tuner.
- Fixed Embedded Audio issue: The FOXBOX TX HDMI was unable to transmit embedded audio when connected to a FOXBOX RX HDMI using Extron HDMI-PC EDID with 2-CH audio files. The EDID now specifies 48 KHz audio sampling
- Improved Feature: Auto Output Format removes limited quantization option. When set for “Auto” Output Video Format, the unit used limited quantization range for SMPTE resolutions. To expand the compatibility with a wider range of sink devices, the “Auto” mode now outputs DVI to DVI sink devices, and HDMI RGB 444 Full Quantization to HDMI sink devices, regardless of the set output resolution
